Bite IQ is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect or store any personal data on our servers. All sensitive data remains on your device.

• Users weight and height
• Photos taken for food recognition
• Nutritional information generated from photo analysis

Temporarily Processed Data:

• Photos taken in the app are temporarily transmitted to OpenAI’s API for AI-powered food and nutrient analysis. These images are not stored on our servers or OpenAI's beyond the duration of processing.

2. Account & Identity

• Bite IQ does not require account creation.
• We do not collect emails, names, or identifiers.

3. Payment Information

• All purchases are handled through Google Play Billing and Apple In-App Purchases, facilitated by RevenueCat.
• Bite IQ does not collect or store payment details.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to improve performance and reliability:

• Firebase (for analytics)
• Crashlytics (for crash reporting)
• RevenueCat (for managing subscriptions)

These services may collect anonymized metadata about app usage (e.g., device type, crash logs). No personal identifiers are included.

5. Children’s Privacy

Bite IQ is not specifically targeted at children under 13 (or under 16 in some regions), but we do not knowingly collect data from them either. Since no user accounts or backend data are stored, the app is inherently privacy-safe.

6. User Rights

• Data Access, Export, or Deletion: Not applicable, as we do not store user data on our servers.
• All data is fully under your control and stored locally on your device.

7. Data Retention

• We retain no user data on our backend.
• Analytics metadata (anonymous, non-personal) may be retained indefinitely by third-party tools.

8. International Users

For users in the European Union and United States, we aim to comply with privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA. Since no personal data is collected or stored by us, the app inherently supports data minimization and user control.
